Student Hostel at the University of Cape Coast

First Choice Engineering Limited is spearheading the development of a major student accommodation project at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) under a Design-Build–Operate– Transfer (DBOT) concession arrangement aimed at enhancing student housing infrastructure and supporting the University's long-term growth objectives. The project involves the design, construction, operation, and eventual transfer of twenty (20) modern hostel blocks that will provide high-quality accommodation for students while promoting a safe, comfortable, and conducive learning environment. Designed to meet modern construction and operational standards, the development will incorporate quality residential facilities, security systems, utility services, study areas, recreational spaces, and other amenities necessary to support student life and academic success.

Project Status

The project is currently progressing through the development phase, including stakeholder engagement, technical planning, regulatory processes, and project structuring activities ahead of implementation.

It will also create employment opportunities during construction and operation, generate economic activity within the Cape Coast area, and support the broader development of Ghana's educational infrastructure.
